The Year of the Dragon: Join the Colorado Springs Chinese Cultural Institute in Celebrating 2012

Lit lanterns hang in celebration of Chinese New Year in Colorado SpringsThe Colorado Springs Chinese Cultural Institute will host its 2012 Year of the Dragon Chinese New Year Festival on Saturday, Jan. 21.

To be held at the Colorado Springs City Auditorium, the festival will feature traditional Chinese entertainment, food, and teahouse activities. In addition, a marketplace will be set up to allow attendees to purchase a variety of items from China.

The whole family is invited to participate in this cultural tradition!

The event begins at 11:00 a.m. and will continue until 4:00 p.m.

Admission for adults is $5. For members, students, or military personnel, admission is $4. Children five-years-old and under are admitted for free.
