The Mayor’s Spirit of the Springs Winter Rally This Friday
This Friday, Mayor Steve Bach presents the annual Mayor’s Spirit of the Springs Winter Rally at the Antlers Hilton Summit Ballroom.
Performances from Colorado Springs groups such as Sweet Adeline’s nVision Quartet, Harrison School District 2 Cheerleaders, and the Taiko Society as well as a number of fun events will begin at 4:00 p.m. and end at 6:00 p.m.
Some of the events and special quests include mascots from the Air Force Academy, Colorado College, and Sky Sox, and Miss Colorado 2011.
There will be plenty of activities for the kids too. Children can enjoy face painting, balloons, finger painting, making their own slime, and getting a picture of their “gold metal moment” with a photo backdrop provided by the United States Olympic Committee.
Admission is free and parking under the Antlers garage will be validated.
