Colorado Springs Personal Injury Attorneys: 2 Hurt In Fort Carson Plane Crash
Two men were hurt when they were involved in a plane crash in Fort Carson in late January.
According to the Colorado Springs Gazette, the two were aboard the DA20 small aircraft when it crashed as it tried to land at Butts Army Airfield. A detailed report of the injuries each person suffered has not been made publicly available, but it is known that both men were taken to Memorial Hospital, where they were listed as being in good condition.
The crash remains under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board.
The reason this story caught our eye is because as personal injury attorneys, we are always on the lookout for ways in which innocent people who have been hurt can be made as whole as possible again.
In the case of a plane crash, we think it would be important to find out what the pilot was doing at the time of the crash and if the plane itself was working properly. If the passenger was hurt due to the pilot’s error, or if both the pilot and the passenger were hurt because something went wrong with the plane, then there may be legal avenues that need to be explored.
